The NHL regular season officially opened Wednesday, with a few of its biggest stars in action. Then it’s back to Pittsburgh where Sidney Crosby and the Penguinsraise their Stanley Connor Brown Jersey Cup banner in front of the Blues (8 p.m. ET, NBCSN) to begin their three-peat quest.

Finally, the East Coast is treated to a late Paul LaDue Jersey -night snack as theSharks and Flyers round out the slate (10:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN).
